Patricia "Patty" D. (Davidson) Mott

Patricia “Patty” D. Mott, 95 of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on March 6, 2024 at the Woodlands. Patty was born in Huntington to the late Wade K. and Reba B. Davidson.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. Mott; son, John “Rob” Mott, II and her sister, Betty D. Harvey. Patty is survived by her son, Mark Mott; her daughter, Kelly Mott (Tom) Pearcy, and her daughter-in-law, Joyce Mershon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Grace, Anna, Tommy and Drew and her great grandsons, James, Robert, Duncan and Thompson. 

After raising her children, she could be found on the golf course, playing bridge, taking walks or spending time with her cherished family and friends. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Woodlands who were always so kind. They are also very grateful to Pearl and her other caregivers who provided excellent care and compassion during her last few months.  

As per Patty’s wishes, there will be a private service for family. In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to Fifth Avenue Baptist Church where she was a member for 95 years. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
